This is an easy hike along the shore. Fun with children. Look for drift wood. Watch out for the mosquitoes.

Trails aren't great but beaches are. There are other parks nearby with much better trails like fort point park. We plan to go back for swimming.

a nature island that can take few hours to explore and hike, either beach or forest is worth the walk. many sightings of seabirds, osprey, and shoreline birds, plus the occasional deer, chipmunk or squirrel.
