Great downtown location, the Strand feels like a classic. It offers movies as well as performances. Butter machine wasn't working, but the popcorn was good enough as is.

The Strand has come along way since it's renovation from a two screen movie theater. Every show I've gone to has been fabulous. What I love is the intimacy of it. Maybe as I'm getting older I appreciate the smaller venues more. It's very nostalgic....More

Historic theater on Main Street in Rockland. Lots of restaurants around to eat before or after the show. We watched a live comedian and the location is fantastic. They have a wide variety of treats and drinks available. The theater has plenty of seating, but...More

Good views and acoustics for live performances. New audio and video systems are average or better. Center balcony is my favorite spot.

What a wonderful venue run by local people who care about their town. We saw an excellent live performance that you would not normally expect could be booked in a small town such as Rockland. The people who attended the show really showed their support...More

My family have all been to the theater many times for movies and live performances. We have to drive an hour to get there, which should tell you that we like the place. Nice seats, wine and beer in the balcony at many performances, good...More
