A stunning setting for terrific exhibitions by artists with Maine roots or connections. It’s like a taste of NYC’s Whitney or the Boston ICA in Rockland. The modern, light-filled galleries designed by NYC-based architect Toshiko Mori (who has a place on North Haven), offer a...More

This took ten minutes to view the exhibition on site. It was very disappointing for the cost of entry.

I just took time to go to this Center and what a treat. The exhibits were unusual and fun particularly John Bisbee's installation and the upside down studio installation. Stop in and enjoy some wonderful contemporary art.

The cost of an admission for 1 adult costs $8.00. For me, this was a quick stop, as the museum is not very large. Since its location is so close to the Farnsworth Museum, I decided to stop in and see the building and collection....More

Spent an hour here recently and like this new building! Great opportunity for Maine exhibitions. Perfect galleries for different exhibits. Also very nice store. Steps away from the Farnsworth, several galleries and the interesting shop for the Island Institute. I wasn't crazy about the current...More
