This is a great family hike. Easy to find with a parking lot and clear trail head. Dog friendly, not too long of a hike and great views at the top. It is steep in places but manageable for most people. Good for an afternoon of family outdoor fun.

Love this trail. We hike it 1-2 times per year. It's appropriate for most healthy people. My daughter is 8 and does great on the trail. When she was 5 she did have some trouble on the way down over the steep sections. She would slip and fall and cry. FYI- the first view spot is NOT the good view... More

First off, bring plenty of water! Rattle Snake Mt. Is a fun hike but it is very steep in places. The view at the top is worth the effort!

This was a pretty fun and enjoyable hike. We had our dog with us and he loved it. We used bug spray on our arms & legs so naturally the flies were going for our heads. Other than that, it was great; Shaded, steep but not impossible, and even had a few "obstacles" along the way for doggie agility. The... More

The trail is posted as the Bri-Mar Trail and is located entirely on private property. The first part of the trail crosses a meadow before entering the forest. The trail is wide and well-traveled in the lower section. It rises gradually for 5 - 10 minutes before beginning a steady uphill climb that requires about 15 minutes to complete. The... More

Steep climb in some spots. Great views at 1/2 mile and 3/4 mile. Round trip 2 miles in 1 1/2 hours. Enjoyable.

We enjoy taking the dogs for hikes here. It is an easy hike or walk and it is never too crowded. Not too steep or difficult. Great for kids too.

This trail was such a fun experience for me and my family. It was some what difficult for us because of the rocky incline, but definitely not a hill for experienced hikers. The view is beautiful and the bugs are plentiful. You leave satisfied and feeling healthy. One thing I would do is cut back the weeds on the path... More
