Walk the Eastern Promenade, and take in the view from the Observatory or the Eastern Cemetery. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, or drinks are on nearly every block, as are the unique boutique shops with clothing, jewelry, antiques, home decor, and toys.

This is a nice area to walk around. I wouldn't exactly say that there is a lot to do here but there are a lot of places to eat.

There were a lot of cool restaurants and shops to visit both day and night. I also enjoyed the food options.

Congress street is fun because it has many stores to explore, places to eat, bars, and even a Starbucks. However, everything closes early (some stores close around 5, some around 7) So in other words, there's really not much of a "night life" in Portland.

This was easy to find parking here and you have to feed the meters. Lots of nice stores and places to eat.
