Allagash Brewing Company is dedicated to crafting the best Belgian-inspired beers in the world. Best known for our flagship beer, Allagash White, we also enjoy aging beer in oak barrels (beginning with the launch of Curieux in 2004) and spontaneously fermented beers (beginning with our traditional Coolship in 2007). Come up and visit us – we’d love to show you around.

Enjoyed a very thorough tour through the brewery. Very detailed. Had tastings along the way. Bought beer on the way out, a t shirt and loved my Allagash white, my favorite.

We just don't get the hype. We've been to six breweries in Portland and Allagashi is number six. All of their beers have a similar taste and we just don't like it. Again, the staff is fantastic, but the beer is mediocre compared to other...More

I write this because Allagash is often on beer lovers list when they visit Portland/Maine, and it seems like everyone has heard about their free beer when visiting the brewery. Please note this has changed due to the fact they give away so much free...More
