I walked a few blocks from our hotel to the port to take a look around. There was fresh snow on the ground and most of the boat slips were frozen. It was a beautiful landscape, and very enjoyable.

Great area for strolling, eating, window shopping, shopping. All are close by. We walked from the old Port to the Children’s Museum. Another day we walked from Old Poet to the Railroad Museum. We also took a bus to South Portland. It’s a walkable area.

The Old Port of South Portland is full of turn of the century brick buildings chock full of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, art galleries, and boutiques to buy whatever your heart desires.

We had a great time spending the weekend in Portland. The Old Port is quaint and charming. We enjoyed walking around the streets and looking in the shops. Lots of nice bars and restaurants to choose from. Hip vibe.

Took a stroll through the Old Port as we walked to a restaurant up on Congress St. It was a lovely winter afternoon.

Portland's Old Port is arguably the best part of this wonderful, ever-popular city filled with shops, great restaurants, right on the bay, whale watches, ferries to Casco bay islands, etc. Go, Stay, Enjoy!
