This is one of the most beautiful beaches in the northeast I have ever been to. You can walk great distance and when you are ready to sit, the views are wonderful. One island you can walk out to at low tide. I love it...More

This beach is pristine and ever changing. A beautiful place if you love long, sandy beaches, gorgeous ocean views and fresh salt air!

In season, go early or go late, even on a weekday, as the parking lot fills up and then you are out of luck. I didn't know there were such large or such nice beaches north of Portland! Great surf, nice sand and good facilities....More

Great for quiet beach visit except on Summer weekend. Large, Sandy beach with opportunity to walk out to a rocky island at low tide. Limited services (food, gas, etc.) but it is not a typical tourist beach. Parking goes quickly in the summer. Get there...More

Large beach. Clean restrooms. Somewhat limited parking. Come early on a hot day. Nice for walking. Good for families.

Yes there are picnic tables that overlook the beach. When you enter state park they are located to the left. After short walk past dressing area towards the beach.
