Been to Owl's Head any times for festivals and celebrations but this is the first quiet time for a visit. The collection of cars, motorcycles and planes is truly amazing. You can easily spend the whole day there!

Banish the idea of a stodgy old museum. This place is tastefully laid out with great displays and narratives. One can see old motorcycles, airplanes and cars, along with visiting the restorative areas. Well worth the money for a trip down memory lane.

A must see for all gearheads! Nicely displayed assortment of vehicles and good videos about pioneers in auto design, racing, flying and motorcycling.

Excellent display and chronology of autos and aircraft of the area and time. Uniquely, ALL of the vehicles and planes displayed run and can be driven or flown. A must see for car buffs.

Check out the museum ahead of time so you can allow enough time. It is amazing how mush effort is put in by volunteers. You can take a ride in an old airplane. We did not do the airplane ride so you would have to...More
