Took our son on a day trip to OOB! Beach was so clean. Lifeguards were on point. The ocean was freezing but worth every single grain of sand we dragged home

This is an expansive and pretty flat beach. The sand is not very fluffy, so it's easier to walk across. I went i nOctober, so I can speak to how crowded it can get. But we took a nice little stroll on a Saturday morning...More

What could be better than a beach and boardwalk all together? Great family fun to be had by all! Various places to eat, drink, and shop on the boardwalk and many activities for the entire family.

It's very cute - typical tourist location with a beautiful beach. Wonderful shops, restaurants & amusement park. Will return during the season to enjoy the full effects

A great place to go. You can walk for miles on the beach. The town is quaint although we were off season so lots of places were closed.

Not impressed. Not clean. Very busy. Several restaurants and shops in the area. Lots of parking. Glad we didn't stay in this area.

Yes, you may before 10AM and after 5PM. 10-5 are the busy times on the beach so there are way too many people to make it enjoyable for either you or the pup. You'll need a leash for the pup. There's also the Eastern Trail... More

Usually the water temp is mid-upper 60's by end of July. It's upper 40's at end of May. Tops out in the low 70's by end of August. It's never truly warm. Maybe 73F if it's been a hot summer. It's never truly warm.

There are quite a few right on the beach and directly across the street (30 steps). It really depends on how much you want to spend and what you want. I booked the Copley LaReine Motel this year. It has fantastic views... More
