This was at the end of one of our walks. It was off-season so there wasn't anyone using the beach for anything but walking. It's a beautiful beach with a lot to look at. I heard that they charge $30 in the Summer which is ridiculous to me considering that the water is very cold to swim in. As an... More

MUST visit this beach if you live in New England. At low tide the beach is HUGE. The water is shallow for quite a distance and allows the water to be semi-warm, especially in the early season.

love walking the miles of sandy beach here and when the weather is hot enough jumping into the crystal clear waters, playing in the waves, plenty of room for everyone!

Water is too cold to swim in but it is a long beautiful beach. Weekdays are better if you want to beat the crowds

Nice trails to walk overlooking the coast line. The beach has lots of sand space. The water should be cold all year around.

This is a nice beach that is a 3mile stretch. There are many variations on where to camp out. Came here for an impromptu family getaway on very hot days, temp 96 the water was still cold. It was still lovely to lay and sunbathe.. Hopefully the water gets warmer in the summer time.

Stunning. Watch the beach transform from medium to absolutely huge as the tide goes out. Public parking, bathrooms, food stands ... Soft white sand and blue green water that is clear and very cool. Water temperatures and best late July thru late August, but it's so inviting the kids usually don't notice and it's just worth it for adults. After... More

One of the best beaches in Maine, a great place to stroll along the waters edge, and the white sand reminds us of Florida beaches, do not miss an opportunity to visit.

Walking on this expansive beach was relaxing and beautiful! You can walk for miles- 5, I think! Flat, easy beautiful sunrise. A little early in the season for me to brave the water temperature for a swim! (but, it was very inviting)
