Beautiful little spot, quaint feel with some great little shops where we found some lovely, well priced gifts to take home to friends. Glad we had been forewarned about expensive parking. We choose to walk the mile or so from our hotel in Ogunquit. Arrived late in the day many shops were closing so went back the next day ,... More

Make your way all around before making your purchases. You will find some better bargains if you hunt a bit. Take out joints have good quality at reasonable prices. Or have a lovely sit down dining experience at Jackie's Too. Interesting boats are docked along the pier. A drawbridge is fun to watch as larger vessels enter and exit the... More

Perkins Cove has the quaint beauty you see on postcards. It's set in a beautiful cove with a handful of local fishing boats. There are walking paths nearby, a few tourist shops and of course, 'Lobsta' restaurants that know how to prepare chowder and lobster. It doesn't get anymore picturesque or pleasing to the palate.

A charming stop off while driving around the scenic coast. It would be hard to enjoy if it was too crowded and parking would be a nightmare but worth it for Lobster shack.

Some artisanal jewelry and pottery stores and plenty of t-shirt and souvenir stores mean there's something for everyone to buy. The area has the advantage of being very compact, making it easier for those with limited mobility to browse. Tasty but high-priced seafood restaurants add to the mix.

The truth about it for me is the stink in the air when you approach the section around the shops just turns me off. It smells like garbage every time I go there. I still go, but not for long , the candy store and out! I would much rather walk around the center of Ogunquit, it's easier to walk... More

So we couldn't leave Maine without having a lobster roll. And it was recommended to go to Perkins Cove. This was a great choice. The chunks of lobster in the rolls were huge. I also had their haddock chowder which was so good, I wished I had skipped the lobster roll - and that's saying something! Service was prompt and... More

What's not to love about this area?!?!? Just the nicest small locally owned shops and eating places. I'm sure most of these eating places close during the "off season" but we were fortunate to taste their incredibly scrumptious seafood recently and highly recommend a visit to the Cove!!! Word of caution parking can be a tricky thing but if you... More

Very busy in the summer with its galleries and restaurants, but quiet and peaceful in the fall! Great views in a picturesque Maine cove!
