Nice variety in levels and lengths of hikes

The map was very easy to follow as we decided which trail(s) we wanted to take. Short and easy, longer and more challenging, there was enough there for everyone.

A group of friends and myself drove to the top and were treated to a great view. I would not have thought about this in the winter normally. I want to go back to use the trails in milder weather. Mt. Agamenticus is not hard to find either.

We didn't know what to expect of the hike up the hill, so we drove up. Once you are up there, you can walk about two miles around the trails at the top. Plenty of people around, nice photo ops, see the ocean on one side and mountains on the other. Peaceful, and beautiful. Most people hiking up the hill... More

we drove here today and walked some of the trails. although not a clear day, we were able to see so many places. the trails are well laid out with lots of information. such a beautiful place. the cell phone towers and radio towers there detract from it, but only for a short time. they soon 'disappear' into the background... We drove to the top of the "mountain", although if you like to hike, you could take one of the trails up to the top. What a wonderful, breathtaking panorama. Enjoy!!!

Easy drive to summit. 360degree view. Ocean view and White Mountains. Lots of plaques let you know where and what you are seeing. Small tower you can climb. Fire tower is not accessible. Port o potties available. This is a must see!

This mountain is close to the center of Ogonquit. It offers mostly family friendly trails to the top. There are a few for the more advanced. Once at the top there are many places to take in the views from all sides of the mountain. Along with breath taking views there is a rich Native American history to Agamenticus. you... More
