We have been coming to Ogunquit for over thirty years and have walked the Marginal Way at least 100 times. It is truly one of the most beautiful walks in New England and beyond. The walkways are very well maintained and there are benches located in numerous spots to sit and enjoy the scenery. While the main attraction is the... More

I've been going for decades and always enjoy this walk. It is sometimes crowded, but always a place for contemplation and great views no matter what weather.

Read about Marginal Way online while planning a trip for my daughter & I to Maine! Ogunquit was our first stop off point was ogunquit, we had supper at Barnacle Billy's & then walked the Marginal Way at sunset, we only saw 2 other people so basically had it all to ourselves! It's a short, beautiful, easy & smooth walking... More

It was very pleasant and not too hard to go around looking over the coast lines on one side and very nice hotels on the other side. Beautiful grounds in hotels surrounding the Matginal Way. Benches along the way to be able to sit down for seniors that require breaks during the walk. On a sunny day it is a... More

We always enjoy our visits to Ogunquit. In particular, the garden near the "Devil's Kitchen" area is soooooo beautiful. We so enjoy savoring the colors of the native flowers, and the movement of the grasses. We heard that a local landscape designer conceived this garden - bravo! Such a gem.

Beautiful 1/2 mile walk that is oceanside. Panoramic breathtaking scenery of the Atlantic. This is definitely a must stop locale if you are in Ogunquit.

You absolutely must walk along the Marginal Way. Up close view of the beautiful coastline following the paved path. Recommend sunhat and sun glasses.

Easy and beautiful walk along the rough and rocky Maine coastline in Ogunquit. The flat trail is easy to handle and no biking is allowed. Lots of wind in May, but certainly dramatic and gorgeous views at sunset.

Always stay at the Anchorage by the Sea right in Marginal Way for easy access. Beautiful walk to Perkins Cove or Ogunquit. Great restaurants on either end. Small beaches with stairs along the way. Recommend sensible shoes as it is paved but up & down small hills. The sunset is always beautiful.
