Even though peak season was done for the azaleas, there were still some blooms and other perennials and annuals were blooming. This garden is absolutely beautiful with a large pond, trees, perennials and annuals and meticulously cared for. It was a short walk from the...More

We visited here first on the way from Boston. A beautiful garden established 50 years ago, it is a mature and gorgeous small jewel. Open to the public until dark.

We didn't allow enough time to tour this exquisite garden prior to dinner. We arrived past the azaleas peak time but the landscape and hardscape is well worth a visit. We would definitely return for more.

We love this place. We visited this place for years, and it is always gorgeous - in June. June is the month for azaleas in Maine. This is a quiet and thoughtful experience. Take your time. Notice the details, especially the innovative borders on the...More

This garden has a wonderful balance between natural elements and man-made ones. It is a lovely place for a quiet stroll. There are also man private nooks if you would like to sit and read peacefully. My favorite part was the sand garden which uses...More

One of the highlights of our week in Bar Harbor! This garden is absolutely stunning. The azaleas were not in full bloom, but so many other plants were, and the atmosphere is incredibly serene. We were there in the afternoon, and only one other family...More

This was a beautiful place for a romantic stroll with my bride of 35 years. It's just large enough for some fantastic photos and yet small enough to enjoy in an hour or two.

Just outside of Seal Harbor, this is a fantastic stop for serious gardeners. It's not great for kids and there's a suggested $5 donation per person (honor system), but it's a gorgeous collection of plants and some truly inspired landscape architecture. The ponds, the sand...More

Our family found a spot in the parking lot right away and walked over to the entrance. We did donate a little more than the suggested amount since there were 6 of us (it's on the honor system). We took our time experiencing all of...More

I suspect there will be significant bloom at this time but this is such a delightful garden tat a visit would be worthwhile at any time. When I visited there was little in flower but that didn't reduce the experience though... More
