Although small in size, it's filled to overflowing with all sorts of artifacts, many of which are from Maine tribes. The basket room alone will take your breath away with its wide... More

Tribes of Maine as well as from all parts of the US & Canada were represented. All were very clearly labeled with descriptive signs that gave you a feel for... More

Worth stopping by to see the amazing, diverse and beautiful collection of baskets. There are also other artifacts. And the store has a variety of goods -- picked up several gifts.

This is a small, fascinating Native American Museum owned by an Indian woman and her husband. Although it is small, it was wonderful. You can tell there was much love and devotion in their selection, preparation, and arrangement of the hundreds of small, medium, and large item displays throughout the building. The baskets are amazing! Every exhibit had painstaking small,... More

My 8 & 9 yr olds really enjoyed visiting the museum. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. It wasn't expensive and there are some hands-on learning activities.
