Very relaxing park with a huge oak tree to sit under on hot days. We rented the pavilion here to have our wedding ceremony and party. Has, like all the Maine state parks, granite countertop and sink/water at the pavilion. Big playground for the kids....More

We stayed in site 38 which was very spacious with great access to the lake. We brought our boat and had a very enjoyable time. Had a nice visit to Lake St. George Brewery tap room ... walking distance from the park.

First let me say I agree with other reviews that it's a nice, well maintained campground. We stayed at a site on the upper circle which seemed to be larger & more private than the ones in the lower area. The lake is beautiful. Day...More

The park itself was very nice, with easy access to the lake for a day on the water. The swimming area is small, but well maintained, and the picnic area is clean and well laid out. However, for camping, I would absolutely go elsewhere. The...More

I brought my granddaughter for the day and it was a wonderful time. The place was clean and all the people were courteous and friendly. The scenery was absolutely beautiful! We'll definitely come back again!

A HUGE full moon rose up behind the trees and illuminated the lake. Gorgeous! That's about all we saw but lots of fish were jumping near the boat ramp.

I'd give this Maine State Park a 5 star rating but it lacks hiking trails of any note and it is close to Route 3, so traffic can sometimes be seen and/or heard. I love swimming in the lake. There are three sets of wide...More

There are picnic tables, grills, playground equipment, and tons of fun available in addition to swimming and boating at this beautiful Lake. The people were so friendly and it made the whole day totally enjoyable. The water itself was very clean.
