A decent-size beach, was never crowded when we went (June), but we know this is where locals gather for 4th of July fireworks. It's a great venue to sit, relax, dip in the water, watch fishermen and dog-walking locals. Parking right by the beach can...More

Definitely enjoyed the view, which is the reason for three stars, but as a resident of Florida I can't say much about this "beach." There was an incredible smell which reminded me of dead fish (although we saw none on the shore). If it's like...More

Walked along the beach here several times. Spent some time sitting on it as well. This is a very clean beach!

Drive through the Sea road and the Ocean Avenue to experience the wonder of dashing cold waves and thousands of smooth pebbles. Via the sea road, you will see semi circular road seeming like a necklace with flowing water all over. Amidst the pebbles you...More

This is a pretty, serene beach off season. In season, it is very crowded and hectic. Good walking as it is very flat and firm sand. Best of all is the pups can join after 5 or 6 p.m. When that hour hits, its like...More

My wife and I live locally and stay away May through August. Then visitors taper off and we often walk on the beach during the fall and winter.

After a great dinner at the Colony Inn, my wife and I had a very romantic foggy walk along a clean well kept beach.

Gawk and drive, just stay on the highway. Plenty of houses and beaches. Rocky shoreline is less than inviting. Just drive on, don’t stop.

Really nice for fresh air and a stroll, if you like walking that is. It was quiet when we were there but I can imagine in the height of the season it would be very busy.

A wonderfully pretty town, immaculately kept. First class! Totally ruined by traffic and bus load after bus load of pensioner tourism. Could not move for too many people. Crazy prices too.. such a shame..

I don't think there are very many dog friendly beaches in season. Maine is our go to place off season because it does get very busy in the summer. I do know many people who rent homes through VRBO and have had great... More
