I thought this looked like a cool thing to check out after seeing the pictures and reading the reviews online. However, when I drove by I noticed the owner standing across the street from the house and he offered to bring my family and I inside for a tour. I picked up strange vibes from him and actually felt as... More

This is such a beautiful place - I believe it's privately owned; don't even know if you can go in but is worth the drive-by. Has a Hollywood connection - interesting story.

We have passed this place numerous times and also stopped to take a picture since the architecture is very unique. It now needs a little TLC since the weather in Maine has not been too kind to the Wedding Cake House.

You can pull over and take some photos, other than that, there's not much to do but it's still very pretty. It's a private residence so there are no tours. It could use some TLC but it is still nice to look at and take photos. It photos nicely with the shade of the trees and the sun shining through.

We drove by this house on the way to a hardware store. It was a great photo op. Interested to read about it's history on Trip Advisor.

Quite a departure from the clapboard houses around the area. It's unusual and worth a slight detour to see.

We stayed next store at the Waldo Emerson house so just walked next store after breakfast. The architecture is amazing. There is some delayed maintenance but we're told an older man lives there alone. Definitely worth a drive by or stop. Got some wonderful pictures.

This huge home is the most Victorian house I've ever seen. You have to stop to take photos as it's virtually impossible to describe. It's easy to park along the road, and you can take all the photos you want. I can't even imagine how much work must go into painting this home! Hope this information helps you.

Without a doubt the most ornately designed victorian home we have ever seen..Built as a wedding present, the theme of love abounds, even down to the "X&O" patterned white fence out front! Look for it right on route one in Kennebunk and stop for a photo...and enjoy the delighful architectural details!

You can stop along Rt. 35 and take all the pics you want of this home that looks like a cake there are many stories as to why it is the way it is but there is a plaque across the street telling the story Check it out.
