Take a few minutes to stop in and walk around the grounds. There are several spots you may stop, sit, reflect and pray if you wish. The statues and grotto are very well maintained. Plenty of free parking and no entrance fee. Restrooms are also available for your convenience. The grounds are very well maintained.

We drove by the monastery and decided to stop to take a look at it. It's a nice quiet place to meditate or relax, even if you are not a believer.

The grounds here are really nice. There are a few places to roam around and visit. Perfect for quiet contemplation and solitude. I came here off-season so I can't speak to how busy it is during tourist season. The gift shop was closed as well.

Whether religious or not a wonderful place to see. The ground and sculptures and interesting and during Christmas Prelude it is a must take to sing carols with candles lit!

This very old estate was purchased and converted to a beautiful Monestary after WWII. It has an interesting history of having belonged to a wealthy textile family until the mid-20thCentury. The chapel is still a lovely place for prayer and contemplation. But the grounds are a perfect place to take a walk around the shrines and down to the river... More

I LOVE this place! We were here during winter and didn't get to walk the grounds, but we did go to the gift shop and to Mass. I've gotta visit during either spring or summer where I can then walk the grounds. I love the fact that the gift shop is set to the side of the building as it... More

This is where the "Candlelight Caroling" happens at Kennebunkport's famous Christmas festival, "Christmas Prelude". As you enter the grounds, you come upon a natural amphitheater where you'll see a large stone grotto set back from rows of wooden benches. This is a perfect place to sit and pray or just to meditate! There are several other religious shrines located on... More

Drove by the entrance say the sign and was interested to see what was behind the gates. When I drive down the driveway and say the open air Chapel and the walkways that lead to a path through the wooded area to a view of the water. They also have a Guest House connected to the property but the lodging... More

Stopped by specifically to visit gift shop for a crucifix for a friend. Very friendly volunteer working there, and he was so helpful. This shop had exactly what I was looking for. Enjoyed the surrounding woods and paths and structures. Lovely nativity scene in one area. Nice place to slow down and meditate.
