We came during summer for a visit. Very close to downtown. Lovely grounds to walk about with beautiful outside chapel as well as nice inside chapel. Mass is held in both locations. We hope to come back for all the Christmas festivities.

I found it interesting to explore this active monastery. The grounds and building are nicely kept, but the outdoor altar and seating was particularly interesting. Worth a stroll around.

By all means, stop here to take a break from the busy downtown area of Kennebunkport. It is open and inviting and set in a magnificent area of beauty.

Very convenient to town and where the "action" is. Clean, quiet, price reasonable. Grounds are beautiful and the breakfast is fabulous.

Our tour of Kennebunkport and the surrounding area eventually led us to St. Anthony's. We learned the original Tudor style mansion (circa 1900) on 200 acres of land was purchased by the Lithuanian Franciscans after World War II. On arriving we followed a wooded path...More

Very peaceful place and beautiful to look at. Nice gift shop, worth the stop if you are looking for that special religious gift. Stop in the chapel to light a candle.

Just a short walk from Dock Square, this is off the beaten path. It was quiet and serene. We enjoyed walking through the gardens to see the sculptures, flowers and trees and awesome views of the Kennebunk River. The stained glass inside the monastery is...More
