Let's go "look" at the wool!

Amazing. Any fiber artists find an afternoon and loose your self high quality wool; hand dye, appliques, curly locks, punch needle, wool by the yard and so much more!

If you are interested in wool crafts: applique, rug hooking, or felting, this is the place to go in Maine. The selection of patterns, wool on the bolt, and hand dyed wool was extensive. The new store is so much brighter and spacious. Wish I lived closer.

Large selection of wool, patterns, and hooking supplies. Leanne is a wealth of info and knowledge for anyone interested in rug hooking. I look forward or my yearly visit to her shop. Kennebunk is a great town. Generally send my husband across the street to the coffee shop (which is great) so I have time to shop.

Discovered this store by accident on recent vacation...what a treasure-filled location for anyone loving wool applique or rug making! Loads of wool choices, both traditional and hand-dyed, walls covered in sample projects and patterns galore. It was especially great having so many pre-cut wool pieces available, as well as full bolts for larger pieces. If you are anywhere in the... More

I found Camp Wool be accident. When I first entered I noticed all the rugs and wool items, they were beautiful. But what sent into the heavens was the cross-stitch items that were available. I'm a cross-stitcher and many of the places I could find cross-stitch items no longer exist. But for those that love wool, this is the place... More

If you are a rug-hooker, and are in the Ogunquit/Wells/Kennebunk area, and you feel the hair on the back of your neck standing up, it is because you are right near Camp Wool. This is a delightful rug-hooking store, and you will feel like you have struck the lucky rug-hooking bell when you walk in. Fat quarters, hand-dyed wools, wool... More
