Hotel was clean and comfortable. WIFI worked well. Beautiful trail up Little Moose Mountain right at the end of the parking lot. Great view of the lake.

Little Moose Mountain Trail was an excellent trail that we wished we had discovered earlier. The trail head is about 2 to 3 miles down a dirt road, but worth all the trouble. Once you start, the trail is blazed property, and well maintained. Bravo!

This is a great hike in the fall. Although I would rate the climb as moderate-strenuous. There is an abandoned ranger house partway up. You get to two spots with a great view. The first one is approximately 1/2 hour from the summit. Be advised...More
