First of all, this place has nice clothing and a good coffee shop. We went on the moose safari evening trip. Drove down many logging roads and canoed on a small lake, but didn't see any moose. Our guide said he had led about 50 trips and only twice not seen any. There had been thunderstorms during the day, and... More

We did a moose tour with Tim an it was absolutely amazing. We saw male moose from really close (maybe 20 meters away). It was fascinating. Apart from that the scenery was stunning and we learned so much about the outdoors. Tim was just great! Thank you so much!

Steve was a great guide. We saw a moose in the first 15 minutes of our guided visit and this made our vacation totally worth-while. He knew just where to go, how to be quiet to take photos, etc. The canoe trip was very peaceful and enjoyable. Highly recommended way to see the countryside and animals without the guess-work normally... More

We are so happy to have gone on an early morning Moose Safari with Steve. Not only was he very knowledgeable about moose, birds, and other wildlife, he was also incredibly personable and friendly. We saw three moose over the course of our Safari. Two were seen from the road. However, the most impressive was the one seen from the... More

Spent a week at Moosehead Lake with my grandson. We stayed in a charming cabin on the lake, atv'd, and fished. Our first day with the atv, Eric of NO guided us through a trail that ran from their store to our cabin. It was a blast and Eric was wonderful. On our last day there, Eric was our guide... More

We took an early morning trip with one of their guides who was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and moose. He pointed out things such as moose tracks on the road and half eaten pond plants which meant moose were around. It was not a strenuous paddling adventure, a nice casual paddle through a beautiful glasslike lake. Unfortunately we did... More

Not quite the trip we expected. One guide took us on a break neck race along trucking roads in the Maine woods around Greenville. Sometimes it was hard to keep up and for about 10 minutes we thought we lost him which was a little nerve racking. No one followed our group so there was no way to know if... More

Owners were very accommodating. Tour was fun and adventurous but safe. Our guide Gary was great. Price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this!

We couldn't have asked for a better tour! The guide, Tim, was awesome, he didn't read from a script and was very knowledgeable and personable! Don't miss this if you are in Greenville. Worth every penny!!

Huge fan of this place. Mike and Pat are both great and run an excellent outfit. I have bought clothes, boots and all kinds of gear here (in addition to many, many lattes). Pat does an excellent job of buying clothing for the place...lots of nice stuff, top brands. A great selection of camping gear, paddling gear, biking, hiking, you... More
