Beautiful and lots of wild life.

The lake is beautiful, clean and very well kept. There are plenty of places for picnics, great trails and an amazing play ground by the lake for kids. Open during the winter

Simply Beautiful

We were able to get a site on the lake. Such a beautiful place to visit. Great walking/hiking areas on site. A doe and two fawns came to visit one morning for breakfast:)

clean and fun!

great sandy beach. We like to take our boat here and dock for free. The swings support beam needs repair, so check it out before you let your kids on it. Lots of picnic spots and people mind their own business.

Can you van camp there and how much a night is charged? Do you need a reservation? Are the sites close together? And are there canoe/kayak rentals there?

We visited only during day hikes. The campsites looked close together to me, and it seemed there were vans. As this is a Maine State Park I think all charges should be on their website. Sorry for limited info. Very... More
