Nice campsites for car camping for both tents and campers. I tent camped in September. Beautiful swimming beach, lots of outhouses, lots of drinkable water spouts, and nice hot water showers at bath house as well as flush toilets at the bathhouse if you have someone in your party that won't use outhouses and is willing to drive for flush... We wanted to see the lake and do some short hiking trails. Nice parking area and well maintained trails. We were Lucy to see about 7 deer and several types of birds. Easy places to park and walk the trails

We did not plan to go to Lily Bay Park but are so glad we did. We were amazed that there weren't more people. We soon realized that many were there but the park is so well designed that you don't feel crowded. We saw deer and beautiful birds. Although we are older folks we could see it would be... More

Very nice beach and trails. No hunting allowed in this State Park so we saw lots of deer, great place to spend a day.

We hiked the in the park on a Monday morning. There were only a few other people in the park which provided a quiet and serene hike. The lake is lovely and the trails nicely maintained.

My wife, grandson, and I spent an afternoon at the beach of Moosehead Lake in the park. It was clean, had good faculties, and we hiked a bit as well. The park personnel were warm, helpful, and accommodating. We would recommend as a great way to enjoy the region for a day. Bruce A., Old Lyme, Connecticut

Accordding to my husband who is a true "Maina," "Lilly Bay State Park is an F'n Cocka" Well he is just being silly. We really enjoyed our stay at this state camping facility. We did not experience the "serious gravel road with big potholes" as another viewer noted. The roads are well maintained with the main travel way covered in... More

Very beautiful park. We did see Moose. It does cost a bit to get in so be prepared. It is also down a serious gravel road with a couple of big potholes.

I have not camped overnight at Lily Bay but I have visited for both their hiking trail and the beach. All my experiences have been wonderful! It is calm, clean and simply serene!
