My husband and I were so amazed of the desert in Maine. Very beautiful quiet breath taking area. We had no idea of this history in Maine. We really enjoyed learning about it and seeing this. So glad we did it.

This is a very interesting place to stop while in Freeport. It's a real commentary on ecology and geology! Our tram driver/tour guide was amazing! An off the beaten path stop.

Who knew there is a desert in Maine. Learned a lot about the area from a very interesting guide. I kept thinking through her presentation that this woman is/was a teacher. She is and did a great presentation. Everybody should see the Desert of Maine
