I've been going to Titcomb for years, both for the alpine (not so anymore) and the Nordic trails. The grooming of the trails is exceptional and done very often during the week and weekends. The lodge has plenty of rustic seating, a cafeteria line style of grilled food, snacks, drinks (non-alcoholic, I believe), candy, etc. Tickets are fairly priced, although... More

Titcomb Mountain has been a great community co-op for Alpine skiing for many moons. The investment of the community and partnership with UMaine Farmington and support from near by Sunday River/Sugarloaf as well as local business, Northern Lights and more... all combine to create great small town skiing for all ages and abilities. UMF students now get free passes during... More

Great small slope with a family atmosphere. Grew up skiing there. Much involvement from families and volunteers in their education and cafeteria.

I started skiing here when I was about four years old. It's a welcoming spot staffed mostly by volunteers. For example, I went up through the ski school and then, when I had qualified, helped my high school French teacher work with a bunch of kindergarteners.

Titcomb Mountain is a small mountain located in Farmington, Maine. Inexpensive lift tickets compared to the big mountain skiing in Maine. No separate locker rooms for males & females. Just a handful of storage cubbys, and a few wooden lockers. You have to change in the bathrooms. There are no chair lifts at this mountain. 2- T Bars only. Good... More

This is a cooperative ski area. I grew up skiing and caring for this place. If you want an affordable skiing experience with many friendly families to play with go here. Get the fries!

What a great little place to learn how to ski or to get out for a few quick runs. Very family friendly and a reminder of the "good old days" of skiing. No high speed anything and no need to be fancy. Would recommend to anyone looking for family friendly winter fun.

Titcomb is a privately run non-profit ski slope. The commissary is managed by a paid staff member, but the srvers are all volunteers. Most soups and goodies are provided by volunteers. The slope is a very family friendly place with beginner to intermediate skiing available.

The area is great for beginners and has a much lower cost than most other ski areas. The food is inexpensive and they offer a wide variety of delicious cooked foods and deserts.
