The Big Chicken Barn is part of our pilgrimage to Mt. Desert Island, south of Ellsworth. We come back every few years. We always find something. We enjoy both shopping for antiques and old books and magazines. We highly recommend.

We spent 4-1/2 hours here, mostly upstairs with the books and magazines. If you like books and old magazines allow a lot of time, there are thousands. The books and magazines are arranged and categorized extremely well.
