When I exited my car I felt like I was in a secret, private, meditative place. The only sound I heard was loons calling on the lake. The sunset was a sedative. The lodge was beautifully appointed, spacious, immaculate and extremely comfortable. The cool fresh...More

I came here for a couple of hours to relax and swim and really enjoyed it. Kezar Lake is the perfect summer lake that brightens up a summer day with it's charm and beauty. Located in Western Maine it's a lovely place for a little...More

Very little boat traffic and unbelievable views. Kezar is from another time and you feel as if you are in another realm. It might have to do with Stephen King owning a lot of the real estate or the lack of jet skis. This place...More

A perfect lake. Big enough but not too big. Mountain views, sunsets, warm water for swimming, and many covers for fishing. Also the Center Lovell cafe with gourmet food and wifi in the mountains of western maine. You just can't beat it.

We used the town beach. It is clean, uncrowded, friendly, and comfortable. Bring a beach chair so you can sit on it in the very clear water and enjoy the view.

First off, don't go to Kezar if you are looking for a vacation spot with bells and whistles. It is a haul to a supermarket, and we barely had cell service where we were staying. For trying to unplug and get away to a simple...More

Quisisana or "Quisi" is the best resort for couples, families and multi-generational groups. Your day is focused on the beautiful lake, tennis, boating, reading, napping and of course eating three amazing meals. Your evening starts with the best-stocked game closet in Maine and ends with...More

We took a day trip from North Conway, NH to visit friends who have a house on the lake. Beautiful lake with plenty of activities but the surrounding scenery is fantastic. I don't know what public amenities there are but we had a great day!
