I have always wanted to go out on one of these windjammer vessels and this outing did not disappoint. Our Captain Matthew did a great job and his ship mate, Devan was very attentive. I actually helped raise the sail which was fun to be involved. The afternoon was a bit cloudy, (can't control the weather) but the sail was... More

We didn't have a lot of wind but the trip itself was great. The captain(s) were awesome and informative. It was a perfect fall afternoon to be on the water.

A real indian summer day for sailing with great views of Camden and the surrounding islands. The crew surpassed themselves with stories of the area and their professionalism. I would definitely spend another time sailing with them!

We had the morning tour with Matthew as captain and Max as mate (or whatever the terms are). Great guys and SO personable! We actually ended up with some strong winds and rough water so the trip was challenging, especially for my husband and I as first time sailing. They were fun, assisted us in every way and got us... We had a great time on our morning cruise on the Olad. The captain Matthew was quiet but personable. My friend got to help raise the sails. We saw a couple of seals in the distance, and the first mate Devon was telling us some fun local stories. There were only 6 of us on our particular tour, which made... More

we decided to come back to Camden to take a schooner ride - it was a beautiful sunny but windy afternoon - we were able to sail on the Olad with Aaron as our captain(he also owns the boat) It was a wonderful sail! There were 6 passengers - so nice - he really sailed the boat - it was... More

This is one of our favorite experiences on our trip to Maine. The sunset cruise was just delightful! Bring a jacket and wear slacks if you go in September. You can bring your own snacks and drinks. The crew is helpful, friendly and knowledgable. The schooner was built in the 1920s and we had a smooth cruise.

We went on the small boat - the Cutter Owl. We had Matthew take us sailing and we loved it! He was great - quiet at times and teaching us local folklore and history when we passed unique spots. We saw a bald eagle on a rock and a bunch of harbor porpoises. He sailed the boat by himself and... More

You can choose the Olad or the Owl. We choose the Owl because it was more intimate--only 6 passengers and the captain. We had Captain Matt who was very knowledgeable about both sailing and the history of the area. The tour is 2 hours and is very relaxing. You can bring your own beverages if you like. You get a... Enjoyed the views and our comfy seats. The wind was good, the sails were full and Captain Matt had many great stories to tell. Loved the ship and feel of the salt air.
