Petty Harbour Mini Aquarium, 15 minutes south of St. John's is a non-profit, hands-on, catch and release, seasonal marine education organization. We are opening seasonally, June 15- October 19, everyday, 10am-6pm.

Love that this is a catch and release aquarium. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of fun and can't recommend it enough.

This is very small but hands on for kids. Friendly staff answer questions about the area. When I say small it is about 15 ft by 40 ft. Nice area to walk though. Park above.More

A number of interesting displays with good interpretive info. Parking is an issue. It can get crowded easily.

A taxi from Petty Harbour might be about $50 round trip. We would recommend renting a car for the day so that way you can spend lots of time in Petty Harbour, stay for lunch at Chafe's Landing or go for a Zipline Tour. Or... More
