Sri Chottanikkara Devi temple is a well preserved, decorated and visited place. One can see long lines of devotees all throughout the day. The lights being lit and the musical instruments provide spiritual environment.Strict dress code for male visitors.

It's one of the famous temple in kerala. It takes around an hour to reach from Ernakulam. Expecting more crowd of Ayyappa swamies in Nov - mid January. Typical kerala temple to worship. Men should remove their shirt before entering temple.

It's nearby my home. Visited many times. Devi in three forms is the speciality of this temple. There are mainly two temples. Melkavu and keezhkavu.

The makam darsanam start at 2pm.there will be Q from morning itself.the darsan continues till Q is over.please enter the Q by 4 pm. You can have darsan in arround 2 hours.please reach early as there will be traffic... More

Hi, We have to see the Goddess in three avathrams, Early morning Devi (Sarawathi ) , in the morning day's time with Lakshmi & in evening it is Durga (Parvathi) . it is good to see all three avatharams.

HI, Men need to be in dhoti or pants only. No upper clothing. Women need to wear a Saree or a salwar kameez. Pants, shorts, skirts are not allowed.
