Beautiful white sandy beach with calm water - with barely any waves at all. The beach is clean and there is a clean beach house for changing clothes and rinsing off. Most surprising was the menu at the concession stand - lots of genuinely nice...More

This beach is gorgeous. Clean, soft sand with a rocky shore to the far edges. Has a concession stand and bathrooms as well as a picnic area. One if the prettiest beaches in Maine.

Usually mean does not have a lot of white sandy beach as my fist beach was amazing. Very well-kept state park with lots of parking. The beach is spacious and well cared for. Great place to take the children.

Beautiful white sandy beach with splendid vista across John's Bay, but the real highlight is the chicken salad sandwich at the Snack Bar, aka the Snack Shack. Light and ever so smooth with great flavor on a perfectly toasted bun. It's the best chicken salad...More

This was not a typical Rocky Maine beach. It had lovely sand, a snack bar, showers and parking was only $4 per car. A bargain. It was not crowded or loud either. The water was freezing but kids didn't seem yo mind. We would definitely...More
