Usually mean does not have a lot of white sandy beach as my fist beach was amazing. Very well-kept state park with lots of parking. The beach is spacious and well cared for. Great place to take the children.

Beautiful white sandy beach with splendid vista across John's Bay, but the real highlight is the chicken salad sandwich at the Snack Bar, aka the Snack Shack. Light and ever so smooth with great flavor on a perfectly toasted bun. It's the best chicken salad...More

I love this beach. It has great rocks to climb and explore when the tide is out, long stretches of sand to meander down, and in the winter you might find a sand dollar.

Smelled like sewer in the middle of April! Tons of Bugs/flies/sea weed as well. Sandy beach was a plus. Perhaps it's better in optimal seasons.

Quiet and clean this beach is the best for laying around or swimming in the relatively calm waters. Sailboat watching is an added bonus. Add a snack bar and trails to explore and you don't need anything else. One improvement would be the restrooms as...More

I love nearby and is my favorite place to go with all my kids. Sometimes we pack a picnic, sometimes we buy food there. Sometimes we pack toys, other times we rent them. A gem rest beach to keep an eye on kids. They can't...More
