Fortunes Rocks is one of the top destinations for summer tourists. It's a beautiful and clean beach that's great for kids with plenty of room to run and enjoy the ocean and sunshine. Sun lovers also enjoy the beach, usually with a good book. Many...More

One of the most beautiful beaches in Maine, right up there with nearby Biddeford Pool and Goose Rocks Beach. Long, sandy, quiet beach. Love the magnificent homes and historic clapboard 'cottages' in the area as well. We went in October, when the leaves had changed...More

Took a nice drive through the beach area. Stunning views, beautiful homes, nice people. The air is crisp, beach is clean and the people are nice. I can’t wait to go back and walk around.

We had a great time at Fortunes Rock Beach, visiting almost every day during our two week vacation here. At low tide there is a lot of exposed sand, and you get to really understand how you can walk out 20-40 yards into the water...More

Okay we’ve been coming here for years. The place just doesn’t change and that is a very good thing. Never TOO crowded, there’s always room down the way... Bocci at low tide. Families and kids everywhere. Just fabulous. You must walk down the beach and...More

We stopped here late morning to look for seaglass and my first thought is that it’s a “real” beach. The beaches in Kennebunkport were really small compared to this one. We saw surfers in the water as well. Note that there is permit parking only.

Beautiful rock formations / geology on the beach. Clear water. You can park close to the beach after you get a permit. High tide erases the entire beach area.

Wish we could have gone at low tide. But, we still found some sea glass! Difficult to find beach entry but worth it.
