Great trails!

Really enjoyed this mountain. We had a ski-out room and could jump on the trails to the lifts very easily. The runs are good lengths and you don't get bored!

We have 4 kids under 12 who are intermediate skiers. Went for a family vacation week during xmas break and skied 5 days. This mountain is very spread out over 8 peaks and different bases. Got separated from my kids by accidentally taking the wrong trail and ended up at a different base. Had to take a shuttle to get... More

Visited Sunday River for our annual ski trip. You do just get hooked on this place. They have clearly suffered with lack of snow this year but the snowmaking is good and they seem to be trying hard to get the best from the resort. But OMG what a difference between the week days and the weekend. During the week... More

Great mountain with lots of paths, different terrain levels, and a great fire pit at the bottom! Definitely worth the trip from CT!

I've been coming to Sunday River my entire life, as well as skied on the majority of East Coast mountains, and this is still my favorite. Advanced skiers should avoid the bottom half on the mountain as much as possible as it gets filled with beginner skiers. I typically avoid South Ridge and the Barker Quad (try the triple instead,... Skied Friday and Saturday. The season has been challenging, but they have made huge snow. The food service offers excellent cooked to order items. The restaurants up hill offer a wide variety of items from pizza, chilli, dogs, stir-fry and panini's.

This was our third time here and it's still amazing. The skiing is good. The slopes are nice and wide so if it does get busy (which it doesn't very often) there is still plenty of room on the slopes. It's a good all round ski area. Great for all abilities. Will definitely go back again.

I went here a few years ago and what an experience. So much to see and do like many ski resorts. There are lots of great runs to choose from, from beginner to expert. Views are lovely and the shops are cool. I liked the fact that you could drive down the road and visit the small towns ;)

We've been coming to Sunday River for years and as a family we love it. They put their money where their mouth is when it comes to snowmaking so you are guaranteed some skiing when other mountains can't. Plus, at full capacity - if you know how to manage the mountain - there are very little lines to the lift.... More

Skied 4 days in January 2016. Had a 3 hour lesson with an expert who greatly improved my skiing and got me to runs I could not have handled without lessons. Wonderful resort with friendly, helpful staff always willing to help. Loved my ski vacation spent there and will definitely come again.

Thank Colin C
