This was our first time visiting the Penobscot Theatre as well as our first time in Bangor. The show "Murder for Two" was hilarious. Both performers were extremely talented actors as well as musicians, and the chemistry they had in tandem was as good as any I've seen. Absolutely brilliant the way Danielle could switch between characters with her voice... More

The dynamic and multifaceted performance tonight of Murder For Two by Jason Cohen, Danielle Erin Rhodes, and the Production Crew of the Penobscot Theater Company totally killed it tonight, an absolutely thrilling show. They make you fall in love with their characters in just under two hours.

What a great show! I would highly recommend if you are in the area while this show is playing, you go see it. Both Danielle and Jason gave a spectacular performance.

PTC is absolutely amazing. Not sure why I hadn't tried any show sooner. Having lived in the area 17 years now, didn't attend a show until the last 5 years. Boy what a mistake. We have not seen a bad show since. PTCs programs and presentations are phenomenal. SO worth every penny. And what a gorgeous playhouse. Cannot say enough... More

Latest visit was a group of several friends--we saw "Calendar Girls" and loved it! The energy and humor was infectious, and the set was terrific. This is not Broadway, but it is a great introduction to a high quality small town theater experience!

So we went to see rock of ages. Keep in mind we are the NYC area. The show reminded me of what the local high school would perform. Not NY off Broadway if that's what you are thinking you are gonna get. What really bothered me is that it was SO stuffy and warm in the theater and they have... More

Attended the showing of "Rock of Ages" last night and to say it was amazing would be an understatement! I was so impressed with the cast and production. Wasn't sure what to expect from a local theater group but they nailed it! I was in the front row and enjoyed the audience involvement. The cast was having a great time... More
