The first time I visited I took my car down (AFTER ACTUALLY PHONING UP TO SEE IF IT WAS OK TO DO SO!) parked in quite a busy car park and had a nice walk around the grounds. Second time i did it, I got...More

I recently moved to Dalmeny Village and thought I would find the beach at Dalmeny House grounds. The grounds are open for walkers and cycling as far as I can see all year round. The house June & July. I walked about a mile along...More

The property is open to the public only in June and July. It's well worth a visit - a beautiful house and great coastal walks in the grounds. The House is filled with precious pieces of art such as paintings and furniture, and a few...More

A perfect setting for an international car launch. We drove there from Edinburgh airport, only 40 min away, and spent a couple of hours enjoying visiting the house itself and exploring the grounds which include a golf course uniquely located on the water's edge. Well...More

What a beautiful place. Well worth a visit! The guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. Very impressed about the interior and the art! Definitely spend some time to check out the surroundings! Simply a majestic place!

We have not been to the actual house, but cycled using the route 76. It's great. You can have some rest on one of the gorgeous beaches, enjoy observing people playing golf and of course admire the woodland paths.
