Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Pick your times. This road is the bain of my life in peak hour or summertime. It was made in a hurry and wasn't made wide enough so can be sooooooo slow! Traffic backs up due to people slowing down to check out the view too. Some days all is fine but most of the time it ruins our trips home when tired and just wanting to get home.

While the Queensferry Crossing was opened to the public in August 2017 this trip in June 2022 was my first time over the bridge. My initial impression was that it is a vast improvement to the first road bridge with a greater sense of security from the wind that blows across the Firth of Forth.
The photos were taken by my wifge while I did the driving.

We were lucky enough to be given the chance to walk over this bridge before being opened to cars. It was wonderful.
Although we have often been over the bridge in taxis to the airport today was the first time we had actually done the double journey in our own car. Quite quiet thankfully. It is beautiful to look at, both from close up and at a distance..

We crossed the bridge on our way to Aberfeldy. The bridge is a beautiful design with tall spires and looks very long. It feels flat as you drive along and doesn’t feel very high. Although you can see bits of the water below and some of the other bridges but not very clearly as there is fencing going along the length of the bridge which blocks this.
The views would have been beautiful for passengers if it wasn’t for the fence but I can see how the views could be a danger to road users having crashes because of drivers observing the views when crossing (guessing one reason for the fence).
FREE to drive across. Observe the changeable speed limits and drive safe.

Queensferry Crossing closed due to ice falling from cables. Absolute joke for people travelling over bridge to and from work. When it was built..it had windbreakers put in place..so it wouldn't close due to high winds. They should have considered putting something in place to catch falling icicles!!!! 🙄

I was lucky to see this crossing on my way home from a Loch Ness & the Highlands Tour with Gray Line Scotland. Our driver and tour guide kindly pointed out this crossing and the Forth Bridge on our way back to Edinburgh. We were able to take some great photos of both bridges from our coach.

This bridge is subject to major delays and hold ups. The speed limit is often reduced to 40mph or lower when there is no need and recently installed speed cameras are now fining people when these lower speed limits are in operation. Sadly this is another reason to avoid going into Edinburgh. Your custom would be better received in other Scottish Cities. Edinburgh Council is a car hating council and does everything possible to persecute motorists.

We enjoyed a pleasant crossing on the new Queensferry Bridge. There’s not a lot more to say - it’s a Bridge and we used it. The wheels didn’t get wet from the river.

This is a magnificent bridge and I never fail to view it with awe when we cross! We were lucky to have been selected to walk across it before it was open to traffic - another memorable occasion!

We have an amazing view and we have also a pedestrian path to cross over the bridge to North Queensferry. What an experience
