The tour was informative, mostly about the family history of the plantation. The guided tour is just the inside of the house. When you go outside you are on your own. Thank God for Groupon because for four people it was only $15 a person

Tour was a lot of fun because of Kat...house was beautiful. Only wish we could've gone outside more but keep in mind the plantation is still in production

Our tour guide, Lynn, was most informative and knowledgeable about the plantation. She was a direct descendant of the original owners and had many personal stories and experiences to tell the group. She also was very vivacious and personable and made us feel most welcomed...More

We had just finished a tour of Oak Alley Plantation so it is hard to separate the two. A very nice experience, we were lucky enough that our tour guide was one of the family members that owned the plantation. Her special experiences that only...More

I really liked hearing about the history of this plantation and those who lived here. It made the trip personal, a little like listening to my own family talk about our own family history.

We do include a short film about the sugar cane process. You can also ask the tour guide for more information. We have been planting cane for over 140 years. Maureen
