For those interested in "antiqing", this is a fun place to pass an afternoon. Don't miss the Slidell museum. Upstairs they have a wonderful collection of Mardi Gras costumes and memorabilia.

The Antique District is a great place to wander and find some wonderful items. I have gone there looking for specific items and just generally looking and usually come away with great finds.

If you are into antiques or just some awesome items from childhood, this is the place to go. Quaint shops that provide all those memories of growing up. All within walking distance in Olde Town.

There are so many beautiful things to look at here, and plenty of shops, so if you don't find what you are looking for in one, you might in another. And most of the prices are very reasonable.
