Can't visit Natchitoches without shopping the unique gift shops. Cane River Kitchenware has the best coffee and seasonings.

We loved walking down this historical district and checking out the stores there. It was a very relaxing family time and we will definitely do it again.

Restaurants are open. Such as for brunch. I recommend Mama's. Some of the shops open after lunch time.
