We visited the town for the Christmas lights and dinner. This was my first visit to see the lights along the riverfront. There were no seasonal activities available and most shops were closed since it was a Sunday evening after 9:30PM. The lights were pretty...More

Lovely shop with unique products. wonderful, friendly, warm staff. One of my favs to visit when in Natchitoches. Ornaments, candles, gourmet delights, Louisiana items. don't miss shopping here.....there's just something special about it.

Great little town to spend an afternoon walking around with friends and family before the Christmas lights along the river come on!

I wish I would have had more time to explore all of the shops downtown. Some unique and some touristy. They are across the street from the river. Not an attraction to miss!

We were there in the "off" season - which was great. The stores were all open and we could take our time and really check everything out. Everyone we met was super friendly.

It was so nice to walk down the street and shop. The little shops are so cute. I told my family it was like a clean safe bourbon street. I love that the street is brick.

Our visit to Natchitoches was on a Monday, about a third of the shops were closed. The stores that were opened included an eclectic mix of high end retail to resale items.

Restaurants are open. Such as for brunch. I recommend Mama's. Some of the shops open after lunch time.

We stayed at a B&B that was within walking distance of the shops. The sweet Cane Inn is the one we chose and although the room was smaller than we thought it was clean and the Innkeeper was really helpful. Parking leaves a... More
