We brought our 2 yr old and 5 yr old with us and we all enjoyed each exhibit. Prices were very reasonable and shows are done at the planetarium.

This museum was an unexpected treat on our day trip to Lafayette. Well structured exhibits range from dinosaurs, industrial design, biology, and space. Nice sized space to view the exhibits with a lot of hands on experiments. The planetarium had comfy seats and we really enjoyed the Nighttime Sky presentation. Great value for the entrance fee. Definitely would go back... More

We have been here many times and have always enjoyed it. There are permanent, as well as, temporary exhibits. The planetarium shows are always professionally done. The cost to go into this museum is very reasonable.

Wonderful dinosaur exhibits and space travel information. Great place to beat the heat in those long Louisiana summers. Walking distance to hotels, other museums, and great restaurants. Museum is three stories high and accessible by elevators.

Metered on street parking is $1.00 (4-quarters) for 2 hrs. Nice museum, good interactive displays for kids. I found the product concept, design and development displays especially interesting. We walked the main street since we were a little early to take in some local shops.

Our 3 year old loved it! He couldn't get enough of the fossils and the little rocket simulator! There is a bug exhibit and a planetarium as well, which was closed because we went late on Sunday afternoon after the last show, but overall it was a pleasant yet educational experience.

My wife and I love taking our kids exploring different areas around our city, and they really enjoyed all of the exhibits at the Science Museum. They have a film about stars and our solar system, a meteorite exhibit, and a play room for kids to play and have a puppet show. When we went, there was a Dinosaur exhibit... More

Beautiful inside with up to date exhibits. Totally worth your time as a family. Staff was super informative and welcoming. The planetarium is fabulous, stay for two different shows it was so amazing even to my wild five year old boy! Price is great too!

This little place is a nice summer or school break visit for one day. It'll take only a couple of hours to go through the whole museum. The planetarium is very nice and the presenter is very knowledgeable.
