This is a great look at the culture of Louisiana of the past. It is so interesting on how people lived 150 years ago. It is well the little they charge for their tour.

A tour of this facility will give you an accurate accounting of what it was like to live "back then". Much of it reminded me of visiting my great-grandparents farm as a youngster. It's is great exposure to history and culture for today's youth.

Rebuilt and reproductions of houses and buildings of original Acadian settlers to the area. Lots of interesting displays and information. Authentic artifacts, old farm equipment, a Cajun music display, and a broad historical background on the area. A very enjoyable, peaceful setting.
