This is truly cajun and bayou country and life shows it. Interesting areas to visit, folks are friendly. The bigger city, Houma, can have some traffic issues like all mid-sized cities can. But its worth a visit just to get away from it all.

This is heaven on earth. Leave all cares, status, and materialism at home and get down there. It is so pure and honest that you can't help but relax. The people are happy and so friendly.

So many things for a tourist to see. Too many to mension. You will enjoy just riding through the Parish and taking it all in. Just a very short ride from New Orleans.

The name of Terrebonne parish literally means Good Earth. A more appropriate name could not have been given. The people and the area are just that good. An abundance of delicious seafood and a people that have a jois de Vivre(joy of life) that shows...More

I lived in Terrebonne parish all my life and never seen another town that can compare. on the southern part of the parish you can boat ride seeing cypress trees with moss and fish salt water or go shopping at the many franchises and resturants...More

Wasnt expecting much for S La but was pleasantly surprised by the area. Everything you could want in an are is at your fingertips. Restaurants, hotels, hospitals, shoppin, ect. Also New Orleans is only about an hour away!
