Rode mopeds from Dong Hoi, through gates at Phong Noi and paid the parking fee at Paradise. Then the entrance fee. The cave was definately worth the fee

This cave is gorgeous and I never visited a similar cave. The ceiling is really high so it is not a problem if you are a bit claustrophobic. The temperature is cool which makes a great contrast with hot and humid exterior. Beautiful nature.

It is hard to believe that this was just discovered in 2000. Absolutely beautiful. These caves are a bit of a hike up, so if you have any breathing problems take your time . It is so worth the hike. Enjoy!

Stalactites and stalagmites as far as the eye can see. The whole voyage is brought to you after a somewhat arduous climb up some 300 steps. This is something to think about prior to the start, but once you're there, the Caves are something to...More

Incredible spot! Must see in Phong Nha. Is superb. But prepare to work your muscles, a lot of stairs to reach the cave and also inside.

All three will be OK for the kids but the younger ones may not be allowed to do the ZIP line at Dark Cave. We only went the 1k at Paradise going further is more of a real expedition depends how adventurous the kids are
