Eunice is a very small town and the volunteer manning the place was excited to see my husband & me come in and three more people following us "on a Tuesday afternoon!!!!". I take it that it doesn't attract a lot of visitors. The museum was small with a... More

We were lucky to experience a young group of excellent performers. It's a folksy setting comprised almost entirely of locals. It's upbeat fun, and entertaining to watch the couples dance. I'd also recommend spending time at the Acadian Cultural Center next door. We saw an interesting film on the history of the population and learned a lot about the Cajun... More

It is very interesting reading about all the great musicians from Louisiana. All the pictures are framed and hanged with a description of the musician and his talent.

Go every Sat. morning from 8-12. Have a coffee, maybe more and listen to locals come and jam. Musicians come and go through the morning. There were at least 6-7 playing at any time

Being interested in Cajun music, we had to visit their Hall of Fame. We learned a lot about the performers and the culture. The lady at the museum as very gracious and helpful. She told us a lot about the culture and music. It was a very enjoyable visit.

If you enjoy music or musical instruments this is a place to stop, if not you could probably skip. We made a quick trip of it. The host was pleasant and helpful.
