Baton Rouge Zoo is a great little city owned and operated Zoo although it was extremely hot and most of the animals were in the shade or inside their enclosures to escape the heat it still was a great layout, very much a park-like setting...More

The zoo was a great idea before leaving town. The price was very reasonable, the zoo was clean, many animals were out and about and the staff was very friendly. Julia did a great job with a critter chat at the giraffe exhibit. Our kids...More

definitely a must see, lots of resting places for people old or young! The crew people are very acknowledged.

It's a small zoo and needs some attention and care. My grandkids enjoyed the visit and the gift shop. I guess the highlight was the train ride.

This is a smaller zoo with a wide variety of animals and exhibits. Visiting here is like walking into a menagerie in your own backyard.

I have never seen pets/ dogs at the zoo. Possibly may allow service dogs, I would call
