A tour of Louisiana's Old State Capitol is a must-see for history buffs, especially Louisiana History Buffs. The beauty of the preserved building alone is enough, but the history and information here are interesting and worth a visit.

Excellent example of Louisiana Impressionism with Don Wright now at the Old State Capital. Not only is the architecture of the building exquisite (even though it has been described otherwise by Mark Twain), but the art is refreshing and laid back.
