Given that it is the tallest thing in town it looks grand. From the Capitol Park Museum, you get a nice frame of view with the building boxed in around the entry of the museum and this provides a nice prospective. Being a big city...More

I brought my kids to visit the Capitol as they were part of the Teenpact Program. It is a beautiful building and my kids learned a lot about it. Worth the visit.

Our family stopped here for a quick excursion. I wish we had more time to explore this building! It's beautiful and historic. Make sure you leave pocket knives/pepper spray in the car.

What a sight, and the tallest State capitol in the US. Very friendly staff will show you to the lifts to get up top and great views when you get there. You can sneak a look into the Representatives Chamber too.

The Louisiana State Capitol has a rich history and is a must see for anyone visiting Baton Rouge. Be sure to go to the top to see the view of the city. There is no taller building in Baton Rouge.

The tallest state capitol in U.S. Beautiful view of downtown and Mississippi River from the observation deck on 28th floor. Enjoyable for all ages. Governor Huey Long was shot here. The architecture inside is great too.
