The Red Scooter is a great find right on Main Street in Taylorsville only 25 minutes from Jeffersontown . They have numerous booths with neatly displayed items. They range from antiques to collectibles to handmades and even a couple flea market style booths. Prices were reasonable and the staff was extremely friendly.

But still has spark and business special to show you around. Was a bank teller for many years in Taylorsville. Very curteous woman. Pricing was not too high. Just right. You're not going to get anything for free there but a business card. Lol. Vendor village on dixie in Louisville may be a step up though. Dmc

My wife and I were in Taylorsville today and stopped into The Red Scooter. The store had plenty of items to look at, but the prices were significantly higher than book for most of the things I was interested in.

Great place to browse for all sorts of items on display by numerous sellers, in a historic location in Taylorsville. Bev, the owner, and all of the other ladies that work there, are a wealth of knowledge about the area, and are very helpful with the items on display. Make sure to check out all of the stuff offered on... More

We weren't blown away by this antique store. For as large as the building was, there wasn't much to look at. We actually spent longer at the smaller antique store in town.

This place is growing and expanding their wide and diverse merchandise. The lady who runs this store (and all of the local business owners) are as helpful as anyone could possibly ever want. The upstairs of this building has been remodeled and is now open as well, pretty much doubling their space! It's a quick trip to Taylorsville for some... More

I highly recommend a visit to the Red Scooter Antique Store. The owner, Bev, and the lady who was working at the counter the day that I was in, were both friendly, helpful and exemplified small town charm. The store is full of amazing items for sale at extremely reasonable prices. The store itself is unique in itself being an... More
